About ITEB
The Institute of Tropical Ecology and Biodiversity (ITEB) is an environmental conservation and scientific research organisation in Bangladesh. The Institute intends to promote ecological and environmental research, and biodiversity conservation of different ecosystems, such as Sunderban Mangrove forest (World Heritage), tropical forests, largest JMB river basins – mighty Jamuna, Meghna, and Brahmaputra (JMB), various wetland systems, and the Bay of Bengal marine coasts.

They will be encouraged to live in harmony with nature as part of their lifestyle as opposed to conspicuous consumerism which creates tremendous pressure on natural resources and ecosystem services.
